New embroidered shirts

Just got my new shirts from the embroidery company in Greenville, SC. Here's a couple pics:
This is a light blue on black. I had trouble getting the camera to pick up on the blue, but you get the idea.

And this is a dark blue on denim

I think both turned out really nice.

Bob

Your shirts look great. I ordered 3 t-shirts with the same design for the trip to PKI. I was more than pleased at only $4.00 per shirt.

Thanks to Ed for finding the place and reworking our logo to keep the stich count down.

More good news, the owner is a nice guy, owns a MINI and joined M2C2.

The shirts are embroidered by Eagle Embroidery here in Greenville, SC.
www.eagleemb.com (864) 421-9003 or (800) 968-7188

The quality of the embroidery is top notch and you can't beat the price!

You can select an item of clothing from the wide selection avaliable on their website (Shirts, hats, jackets, etc), then call them for pricing. Embroidery cost is $4.00 plus the cost of the article of clothing, or you can provide your own item for them to stitch, and if I remember correctly, they can mail it to you when it's complete.... Be sure to mention that you are from the MINI Motoring Club so they know what to stitch!!
They can also add other embroidery to the sleeve (like your name or whatever else you may want)

The shirts I've seen look really good. Ed, have you asked how much extra a larger image on the back might be?

I ordered the Harvard Square 126 white shirt with blue trim and blue logo. Looks great... Great shirt. Excellent source for M2C2 logo clothing.

Thanks.

BTW... my 2 screened shirts from Nate cleaned up after second washing.

Hi Eric,

No, I didn't ask, although I think George was thinking of getting a jacket done like that. Give Nate a call at Eagle Embroidery. I'm sure he'd be happy to give you an estimate..

Can we put the information about Eagle on the m2c2 site?

Some of the new members were wanting to order some shirts.

OK - so it's not like a bunch of shirts have been manufactured for direct purchase as it's still a custom job where we have control over the final product. Cool.

That is correct.. You can choose the item you want embroidered from their online catalogue or bring your own, pick the colour of thread for the embroidery, have your name embroidered on the sleeve or wherever you prefer. It's just like ordering a MINI!!! So many options to choose from!!

We're working on getting the info on the merchandise page of the website, along with a couple other companies.

The Greenville Chapter meet at Eagle before going to dinner last night. I ordered 2 shirts, one long sleeve and one short. It was great. I got to pick the shirts the color the thread what I wanted on it and where I wanted it placed on the shirt.

It did remind me of all the options you can order on a MINI.
Eagle is great to work with.

Yup and that's good also, but I think that this thread or another new one with Zack's company info and a link to his site etc., needs to be a sticky on this forum. Right up there at the top, under current events.

After visiting his store yesterday and looking at; the quality of his product lines, his embroidery package for m2c2, and the cost he's charging for fellow club members I think we need to let all the folks know, what a great deal this is!!

I was just going to pm you Smokie, but then I thought I'd put my reasoning for not wanting to do this out for everyone to consider.

I feel the best we could do on the forum would be to maybe have a sticky with a link to our merchandise page. In fact I've already been thinking of doing a combination Membership App/Merchandise combo. This is because as soon as we sticky one company, it sets what would probably be a problematic precedent. Granted, Zack does do great work and his discount is really nice, but, where would it stop? There's a fair number of other companies on our ever growing vendor list who could plead the same case. Who would make a decision on which companies get stickied and which don't? I know I wouldn't want to, because I think they're all great. In the end, this could easily get out of hand and we'd end up in sticky hell.

If we want to discuss this further we need to either start a new thread or take it just among the officers via email. That said, let's let this thread get back to the original topic.

Bob,

Great idea and that will satisfy me, guess that's why you're the Pres! Lots of folks had questions, so your idea should help a lot!

BTW, what was the original topic

I like Bob's new idea better than making this a sticky...

No matter what decision the club makes on this subject, I nominate the above sentence for the best of this forum for many moons.
