Hi,

Anyone have pics of a hyper blue cabrio? I think the color is fantastic but I haven't seen it on a cabrio yet....

Think it's my top color at this point. Only eight months away from ordering!!!

A Hyper-Blue Cabrio would be sweet....but would the dark blue top look good with it?

 

Both black and blue tops look awesome. I chose black to match the trim.

Here is my HB cabrio with the blue top. I am very happy with the way the dark blue top looks - these pics probably don't do it justice! :smile:

 

I've got a HB cabrio with a black top... I'll post pictures ASAP.

 

I've got an '05 MCSCa hyper blue with a black top and black bonnet stripes. IMO the best looking color combo, followed closely by BRG (BRG tends to get swirled paint relatively easily if you aren't very careful). Also have driving lamps and a full aero kit.

I'm not sure where the info on HB not being offered came from.

 

Here is one that I rented when my MINI was in the shop. I also put bonnet and Boot stripes on it for fun

 

You can check out some pics of my HB MCSc in my gallery. I also think it is one of the best colors available for a MINI. It looks best in the sunlight during mid day. Mine has a black top with black bonnet and boot stripes.

 

Although I do love it in the sun, I also adore HB when its overcast - it looks so saturated and glowing. That is actually what finally sold me on the color (on top of loving the lapis interior w/it, that was a big factor too). I had the car on order in a different color but was not satisfied and went to a dealer to go see them all in an outside lot again; it was grey misty day and there it was among the other cars and it just stood out glowing intensely and not looking dull w/o the sun at all. Love it

 

I agree eVal, HB does look good on an overcast day. I like it at night too. It's one of those colors that just looks good period. My wife's 06 MC is Royal Grey. A new color for 06. It looks best on an overcast day. In the sun, it looks to be more olive color and at night it almost looks black. One thing is for sure, it's a pain in the *** to keep clean.

 

I have a 2006 MCSC JCW in Hyper Blue. Blue roof and blue leather.

OK, how much are boot stripes? I think they look awesome (and no one around here has them) (then again, I'm probably the only person within 50 miles of me with an orange cabrio.)

 

Check out my gallery for two pictures of my brand new Hyper Blue Cabrio. I have the black top, and got the anthracite interior which I love when the interior chrome is added.

 

I LOVE my HB/BL cabrio! I added aftermarket glittery frost stripes and some ext. chrome. I need to take some better pics, but here's one right now. She doesn't have the chrome in this pic, but I did a chrome grille and boot handle. I love my car!

I ordered the HB with black top. And after seeing so many great posts in here, I'm even more happy with my choice. I really like the Space Blue, but since its not available in the Cabrio, I went with the Hyber Blue. Now if the darn thing would stop hanging out in England and get over here, I'd be able to see it in person and share pics with everyone. Well, one day soon...

 

If I went with a MCc it would be a HB\B with Sunrise/Dark Blue Upholstery and HB dash. I still haven't seen anyone with one like that. This would add the dark blue doors coupled with the HB dash and a bit of red contrast, just seems to be a beatiful combo.

Anyone seen one or have one?

If you could scheme a checkmate steering wheel then you're in the blue.
