MINI GT? Nope not a misspelling of the RS and it's rumours!

MINI GT was my drive across Toronto to Hamilton, Ontario today - about an hour each way. Not a great distance - but for whatever reason or stroke of dumb luck, the traffic on the highway was easy, the sky was blue (although the temp was freezing) and the blacktop was dry!

WOW! One of the first days in a while that I've been able to let my MCS wail! Nice smooth moves around other traffic. Easy gear shifts from 4th to 5th to 6th to 5th to 6th....You get it.

That baby just moves out in 3rd or 4th at the high end of the revs. You MINIacs still in the break-in period will laugh out loud the first time you really accelerate your MINI.

 

As of next Monday, I'll have had my Mini for 3 months and am still not to 1250 miles yet!!!

As of Monday, I have had Roxy for 2 full weeks, and have put 2,100 miles on her...might be time to maybe drive a bit more...not much, just a little bit
