Anyone used NXT car wash

I just bought some Meguiars NXT car wash.

Got it for 2 reasons, one, it won't strip off the NXT wax on the car, or so it says, but so far I'm very pleased with the rest of the NXT line.So I'll take their word on this.

Now the main reason I got it was the claim it works well with hard water, and will not leave mineral deposits. My well water is a little hard, and I don't use it to wash my car.

So I'm wondering if anyone has used this product with hard water?

Going to give it a go as soon as it STOPS RAINING here

I just used it today on my black car in the sun and I didn't have any spotting problems. I didn't leave the rinse water on the car for long though but I did see steam rising. My city water is probably not as hard as your well water but in the past I have experienced spotting.

Also, I noticed the label on the current bottle mentions that it has water softeners whereas the bottle I bought last year does not. Also the old car wash is sort of purple and the new one is more blue so they have changed the formula. As far as spotting with the old formula, I don't know. I usually wash in the shade but today I figured I'd chance the spot free formula and I was not disappointed.

Is that the purplish stuff? I use it...and be sure to follow the dilution directions on the container! If you use too much of the car wash fluid, it won't rinse off as well. This info was given to a group of us who had a fun detailing meet at Meguiar's, taught by Mike Phillips, their resident detail guru.

I used to use the Zaino wash, but I ran out one day and didn't feel like mail-ordering just for auto shampoo. I bought a gallon of the NXT wash for around $10 at Sprawl-mart and it's great because I can use as much as I want to (without the cheapskate in me bugging myself too much). I love Zaino products, but a few of them (the new detailing spray and the shampoo) I think are a bit overpriced. The NXT wash gets nice and sudsy and seems to do a nice job.

AGRANGER...that's good to hear that the NXT Car Wash works well with the Zaino line as I have almost a full bottle of the NXT car wash and am soon switching to Zaino....but has anyone tho found that it would be better to use the Zaino car wash rather than the NXT car wash with the Zaino polishes? Brad?
