Mini/MINI MOALA Breakfast Sunday 6/26/05 - Seal Beach, California
Mini/MINI MOALA Breakfast Sunday 6/26/05 - Seal Beach, California
All invited (although it may be a little crowded
)
Sunday June 26th 8am
Shore House Cafe
941 E Pacific Coast Hwy
Seal Beach, CA 90740
(PCH & Main)
We are going to revive our breakfast meeting & cruises starting Sunday June 26th at 8am. This will be a once-a-month get together which will tentatively take place on each Sunday following the MOALA meetings. All Mini & MINI owners are invited as this is an unofficial MOALA club event (unless the club decides to make it official.) What we would like to do is have a rotating meeting spot so that we can have variety and allow people in other places to participate without feeling as though they have to drive super far every month. So I am asking people to come up with at least one idea of a place to meet in the future. We will vote at this meeting and then make a schedule for future places, which will be posted on the MOALA forum and at the meetings.
Ideas I personally have for meeting places include:
http://www.rickyandronnies.com/ Ricky and Ronnie’s in Torrance. This place is absolutely awesome! For those of you that didn’t make the PV run, this is the place we ended up at. It was specifically designed for cars and car clubs and the breakfast food is great!
http://www.bobs.net/newact/carhop.html Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank. Built in 1949, this is one of the original Bob’s Big Boy Restaurants and is still a car hop.
http://danapointharbor.com/proudmarys/ProudMarys.html Proud Mary’s in the Dana Point Harbor. Great food and atmosphere but it may be a challenge getting all of us seated. We may be able to arrange something with the manager.
http://www.citruscafe.com/breakfast.htm Citrus Café in Tustin. They have a fairly large dining area, which could easily accommodate a large crowd. Plus their food is great.
http://www.pacificwhey.com/locations.htm Pacific Whey in the Crystal Cove Promenade in Newport Beach. Anybody that has been to the Crystal cove car show can attest to their great food. Although a slightly on the expensive side, their food and pastries are excellent and they have both indoor and outdoor patio dining areas. The location is also great for a PCH cruise!
These are just ideas that I have based on my ever expanding gut and need to feed it. Please bring any suggestions to the 6/26 breakfast or email me: inim_mini@yahoo.com .................................................. ..................
