I've seen the postings for the new colors coming in for the 2006 Mini, but do we know which/if any of the new colors will be available only for MCS vs MC?

I figured someone would link to those photos, but here they are pasted into the thread. I tried to choose the images that showed the colors most clearly. These are new special editions for the non-US market, so they have new wheels and stickers, but the colors are correct as far as I know.

SPACE BLUE (with silver roof) - I think I might copy those side checkers decals someday.

 

i think we here in the US have different tastes in automobiles than the europeans do. i like solar red, but all the opions packages look dumb. you think they could have come up with some kinda decal thats more interesting than what they are offering!!!!

besides, how comfusing will the mini one - 7 be? lol

 

Solar Red I am diggin', I thought I'd like the Royal Grey ( ( love the current DS )! but it does look almost brown!

Solar Red appears to be a metallic finish. If that is the case, SR (Solar Red) will be the direct successor of Velvet Red Metallic offered in the '02-'03 MC.

SR remainds me of Candy Apple Red offered in the early '90s Civic Hatchback.

the rest of the colors are nice. Space blue is a more conservative blue in comparison to the current HB.

 

I think that the royal grey looks like a bronze. I wonder how a nice set of bronze wheels (if you could find just the right color) would look on it :smile:. Make a statement with monotone

 

I was expecting the Grey to be like the one on the TT (which is what others were hypothosysing) but I love the brownish color. UPS Brown is the new black!

 

Actually got me thinking about selling my 02....

the new S special edition called the checkmate wheels looks really nice

i like all the new colors.. still sad to see jet black is getting the axe with electric blue though...

 

i love the seats in the park lane...

 

I like the Royal Grey! Very nice! I agree that bronze rims would be awesome with that color!
