Chicago Exhaust Mods
Chicago Exhaust Mods
Hello -
My Mini arrives in about a month and I'd like to have some mods ready when it hits our shores. Does anyone in the Chicago area have an aftermarket exhaust that I might be able to listen to?
I'm leaning toward the Alta or the Milltek at this point.

Try changing you post title to : Chicago Exhaust mods. People in Chicago might be more likely to find it.

Here are a couple of Cooper exhaust sound bytes from Gabe's motoringfile site:

Thanks Ernesto!
I should have mentioned that I'm getting an MCS tho! (dark silver, manual, LSD, sport, premium, cold, and a bit more)
I've seen the exhaust comparo sticky thread with the sound bytes, and it was extremely helpful in narrowing my choices down to a couple/few, but I'd like to check them out firsthand before ploppin' the dough.

I have the Dinan and love it...
Mark:
I have the Dinan S1 package on my 02 MCS and love the exhaust. It's only slightly louder than stock at lower rpm's, but when you get on it the car has a nice throaty sound. The intake with the exhuast sound really nice.
I'm in the North burbs.

If you come to the CMMC event at Knauz on Saturday morning you should be able to hear at least a couple after market exhausts. My MCS with the Dinan S1 will be there. I love it and have gotten several postive comments from other MINI owners about it's sound.
