Pic Request - Rear Facing child seat

Can anyone take a picture of a rear facing child seat in a MINI?

We have a little one on the way, and I haven't ever tried to put a rear facing seat in.

Does it work?

Yes. I have a rear facing seat in my MINI. I put the base on the passenger side. When the seat is in the base, the passenger seat won't go back very far, so you will not want to try to take a trip of any distance with you and another passenger and the baby in the seat. Your passenger will not be a happy camper. But we took the car over to my in-law's house (about a whole 3 miles away) for the first time with me, my wife (who's 5'9") and our little girl (she's 4 months old now, so you see we don't do this often). The wife said she was ok, but I could see she was a little bit cramped. If you are wondering, our baby seat is a Graco brand, nothing special for the MINI or anything.

Check with OctaneGuy - I think he's got the complete skinny & lowdown on carseats and other MINI-Friendly accessories such as strollers - Check with OctaneGuy.

I don't have any pictures, but we are about to drive from Venice, Italy to Lommel, Belgium for INMM05. That is going to be a LONG trip, I think. My daughter is 5 months old now, but she did fine going to Milan at 1 month.

Car Seat Pics

It works great. With a little planning, there is no reson to get rid of the MINI ! Here are a couple of pictures of our set up. We have the Primo Viaggo car seat (with an extra base for the other car) and the Aria LB stroller. The wife loves the stroller because it's light but doesn't feel cheap. I also took a picture of the front seat so you can get some idea how much room is left.
