Fan making noise???

Is it normal for my 2005 MCS, when stationary, to have the fan kick on every 10 to 15 seconds then stay on for about 20 to 30 seconds, shut down and then start over again? I do live in Hot and Muggy Central Florida and that may have something to do with it since when I turn the A/C off the fan does not kick on? Any of you have the same, it does seem to make a lot of noise.

Thank you,

Andreas

Yea, the fan is loud and moves a lot of air. It has two speeds. When you turn the A/C on, it will almost always run on low speed. Once the coolant reaches a set temp (I believe 212) it will kick over to high. I'm not sure about it kicking in and out every 20 seconds, mine will stay on until I get moving again.

Thank you, seems to be normal then. It is pretty loud though. I figured everything else was fine since the chrono package shows normal temp, oil temp and oil pressure.
