Any Tips on How to make your MINI "feel" New Again?

Yea the title pretty much says it all. I have had my MINI for about 6 monthes now and find myself constantly going back to the very day I picked him up. I just wish I could walk into my garage everyday and say look a "New" MINI, AWESOME! Anyone know how to make your MINI "feel" NEW Again?

Thanks

MIKEY!

If you're talking outside - yeah - Zaino!!

Inside...full detail, leather treatment, replace the floormats...get the windows really good...those are what I first notice in a new car anyway.

Get a narrow piece of white tape - any kind will do. Write:

000017

on it. Stick it on your odometer : )

Actually, the stuff is really stinky, but they make a "new car smell" spray. Not really good though (wouldn't use the stuff myself).

Maybe add a antenna bobber? Get a customized license plate the next time you get your plate renewed?

Not much help in June but this coming winter put it away and drive some horrible old winter beater. Come spring you'll have the "new MINI" feel all over again. Have done it twice now and it renewed the fling each time.

Just like my best pair of jeans...I don't want my MINI to "feel" new again. It "fits", feels good, looks good....no going back to that toxic smell, just out of the package feel. MINIs are meant to be driven and enjoyed...a regular clean inside and out is good enough for me!! (Yeah, okay, I admit, "regular" means every week!!)

Stop driving it for 3 months. During that time post periodically to NAM about your MINI's progress through production flow, shipment and delivery.

Do what I did: think about selling yours to buy a new MCSc, tell everyone that you're going to do just that, then go test drive one. Be completely awestruck by how much they've changed the car (ok, this part won't work for you)... and then get back into yours. Remember all the bugs, bumps, dings, miles etc. you have been through and drive home happy in your "new" MINI.

Also, you can start thinking of all the mods which suddenly seem cheap when compared to the difference you would have paid to purchase the MCSc.

It's a no-brainer for me. Just hop in the driver's seat, start it up, pull out, and find a twisty road with the windows down. The love starts all over again.

I travel a lot for work

Or rent icky cars a week at a time, then return to your MINI. Mine feels new every time, because I clean it I/O and store it before I travel. (Last rental was a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire one of the crappiest cars I've ever been sentenced to drive. It's pretty bad when any Hyundai product is more refined.)

I also count on my beater 86 Toyota PU with 397k, build quality problems from mile 27 but strong engine with no rebuilds (except the carb to pass emissions) and it makes me appreciate Red Rodney even more.

Yet I 'm curious as to what RR will look like at 397k. Jimbo

I drove my daughters aztec thing after I hung a bike rack off the back of it.
Took it out to make sure the rig would work. I thought I was going to fall over the whole time, and doing any kind of move at highway speeds

Mind you, Poco is very quick, nimble, and looks SO much better
