On the 05 Mini's built before Oct 13th?

I have purchased the lamp & lens, and had added the 6 position switch assembly when I got the car, and just about to do the 10,000 mile service at which time I will have the dealer activate the light. (for about $60...)

the Red Lamp looks great on a chilli red bumper by the way. Can't post a picture - I am not at home right now.

[Anyone got a spare BC/1 out there to reverse engineer ?!! - I am serious]

 

I'm curious too as my rear fog is installed and of course not working until a wiring harness update is created.

My car was built 2/19/05 and this was a factory install. Looks fantastic at night!

 

I have an Aug 04 build and still no word, although I have the lite installed and have the toggle bank and connectors. My dealer told me they can put all the parts together, but can't program the lite to work.
