I'm looking for a used Borla exhaust. I've converted my MC to an MC1/2S and I'd like the right (passenger in the US) side of a Borla exhaust to have the exhaust exit correctly in the center.

Currently I've done this already, but I'm not happy with the "custom" job I had to do with a muffler from Auto Zone. I'd like the Borla so I can use the hangers and fab the rest in so it fits in nice and clean.

I've tried Borla, but they want pictures of my "damaged" muffler, etc etc...way too much crap to go through and then they tell me it will be at least 8 weeks before I can purchase one. I thought they were an aftermarket exhaust company?

So, you see my situation, I just need the right (pass) muffler so if anyone has something laying around that they'd like a few bucks out of...

I have a Borla Sport that I'd be willing to part with if you're interested. Its still installed on my MC40, but if you're interested, please let me know via e-mail (brinyu@yahoo.com). I love the exhaust, but wouldnt mind picking up something a little louder.

Maybe I should've given the asking price thought before i posted...
I picked up the Borla Sport for about $833 late last year. Its got about 7000 street driven miles (zero miles on the track so far, was waiting for all my mods to be done).

Is $600 fair? I dunno. If anyone has a better guess as to a fair price, I'm flexible, no worries. We're all MINI family here, so whatever is the fair market value for the Borla is cool with me. So I guess $600 or best offer until then. :smile:

 

thanks to all, I purchased a right side can direct from Borla (had to coax the a bit). Going to use it for my MC mod using the MCS rear bumper.

wasn't cheap though, $250 for a muffler....
