The Matthews Chamber of Commerce will be holding their 15th annual Matthews Auto Reunion on Saturday June 11th at 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The location is Historic Downtown Matthews Stumptown Park – S. Trade Street. Matthews is a suburb of Charlotte just a few miles from Hendrick MINI.



Last year M2C2 had 5 MINIs in the show. We hope to triple that figure this year. This is a great opportunity to clean up your MINI and bring it out to let others see it. Last year our 5 MINIs were placed up front and received a lot of attention.



Ed Keady, the Sales Manager of Hendrick MINI, has agreed to pay the $20.00 registration fee for the first 10 M2C2 members. To be one of the 10 you must post on this thread your name and let us know that you will be attending and then download the registration form at

After you have completed the registration form, do not send it to the Matthews Chamber but fax it to Ed Keady at Hendrick MINI. His fax number is 704-531-3282. Your registration form must be into Hendrick MINI by Tuesday May 31st.

The first 20 M2C2 members that show up at the Matthews Auto Reunion will receive free 3 micro fiber detailing towels, a $25.00 value. Just locate your M2C2 Charlotte VP, George Kail, and he will have them in the boot of his MINI.


This is a great event for the whole family. There will be food and shopping in the stores next to the park in Historic Downtown Matthews.

I'll be coming over there for this show. I don't think I'll be showing, though. I'd have to leave the house around 4:30am to get down there in time to detail the car enough for the show. That's a bit "above and beyond", even for me! See all of you there!
