FS: Mini Cooper Stock Exhaust

I just replaced the exhaust on my MC with Miltek and I don't see any reason to keep the stock system lying around. Stock exhaust has 21000 miles on it. No dings or scratches. I'm looking to get $100 for it. Buyer to pay shipping. I work at FedEx and get a pretty hefty discount so I can save you some money. PM me or email me at allan.scott@gmail.com

Don't mean to be negative but ya might have a better response if you said, "free to good home". Stock exhaust systems are hanging around almost everywhere. I know it's a tough pill to swallow. I ended up cutting mine in pieces and putting it in the trash just so it didn't take up space.

Well, I could just charge you the full shipping cost in that case.

After installing my Remus, my stock went to a good home! And no one even had to pay for shipping, the trash men packed it in really good with everything else!

I've got a Miltek on mine and I love it.

What is the sound quality for the Miltek? I will be replacing mine and am not sure which give me that pleasant note versus a deep throated roar

Sound is great. Nice and quiet at idle. Deep and throaty at speed. No drone that I can hear, but I've never had a custom exhaust before, so I am not sure what a bad drone would sound like. Do a search for my threads. I actually did a small how-to which has a before and after sound clips.

Love the miltek. It has a great sound to it and was easy to install, but good god were the stock cat bolts a pain to get off.

Many of us have done the Remus on our Coopers and love it. Very throaty on hard acceleration, at idle sounds like stock. No drone, and has a nice deeper sound than stock. Combined with an intake, it SOUNDS powerful. Do I feel better performance? Maybe slightly, but most importantly, it sounds great, and feels better than before, so it MUST be good!
