Panhandle MINIs had our first Wheels & Wings event last night and it was a blast. All the houses in the area are hangers and line the active runway.

Neighbors just taxi up to the party in their planes, grab a burger, gab a bit and then jump in the cockpit and take off for a fly about the area.

We made a point to tell Ron and Susan, our hosts, that they will be having this annual event twice a year if not more. They said anytime.

What a fantastic event I missed! Dang, my nasty virus flared up and even though Wanda and I were invited to attend, I had to stay back and rest up for my trip home this week.

I'll be back, not necessarily with Wanda, but I definitely want to visit Ron and Susan's home and maybe even go for a ride in Ron's W/CR experimental!
