I brought this up last year, but it was too late to make it happen. So I figured I would bring it up nice and early this year . . . .

I was wondering if people would be interested in an afternoon drive on some nice country roads this fall. I grew up on a farm in DeKalb and know some nice roads out that way. That area is really nice in the fall - leaves turning, harvest is in mid-swing and the weather is usually pretty good (cool and dry - perfect for making good power!) I even know a little grass-strip runway we can take some group photos at, if people are interested.

After cruising for a while, I thought we could finish up with a nice drive-in movie here in the burbs (there is a drive-in theater on Rte. 64 in Carol Stream). I can make arrangements and have them block off a nice section for all of our MINIs.

Anyway, just wanted to see if people are interested. I am more than happy to design the route and organize everything as long as there are interested parties.

I wanted to do it last year as well, but the scheduling/timing was bad.
