MGCC Rallye Glenwood Springs
The MG Car Club, Rocky Mountain Centre announces it's 53rd Annual Rallye Glenwood Springs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 10th, 11th and 12th 2005. This is the oldest continously held rally in the U.S. 250 enthusiasts with over 130 cars are expected to participate.
The majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains are the backdrop for the 53rd Annual running of the MG Car Club's Rallye Glenwood Springs. For fifty-two years, vintage and classic cars througout the Rocky Mountain region have shared the road with their newer counterparts for a weekend of fun and octane related festivities.
This three day event begins on Friday June 19th with the 53rd Annual Rallye Glenwood Springs, a time, speed and distance event to challenge the novice and experienced rallyist. This involves all participants, and it runs from Denver to Glenwood Springs. The weekend culminates with the Car Show and Funkhana on Sunday morning.
The event is a marvelous opportunity for car enthusiasts of every marque to join together for a weekend of unique events as well as some of the most breathtaking scenery in America.
The featured car in this year's logo is the MGA. Introduced in 1955, the MGA is celebrating it's 50th anniversary.
The MG Car Club, Rocky Mountain Centre, has sponsored the event for the past 53 years, since top down motoring and MG's had running boards.
