Which Big Brakes for BBS RGR wheels?

I'm starting to think about getting some new brakes for street and track usage. The wheels are BBS-RGR 17x7 with 38mm offsets. I'd like to do this with brakes not requiring wheel spacers. I think this might be an issue with some brakes with these wheels.

Does anyone know which big brakes (Brembo, AP Racing, Wilwood, TarOx, etc) will work with these wheels and not requiring spacers?

Thanks

Steve

Offset is not really your concern. Wheel shape and spoke clearance is.

OS can change this but assuming you are not buying wheels with a specific change in mind to help, you'll need to review caliper clearance issues.

Not sure what I mean?

* I give up, just click FAQ then wheel fit.

I believe the Wilwood kit# 140-8528 will work.

I think promini runs tarox kit on their Mini with the RGRs. not sure if they have spacers though.

The RGR is boarderline because of the deeper dish. As Todd stated, offset doesn't really matter. I believe the B3 kit may work. The B3 kit is one of the only Large kits that fit behind the factory R90 wheel without spacers. This 17" kit, uses a 324mm by 30mm rotor (aprox 12.9" x 1.2") with a very nice light weight four piston calipers.

I ended up putting on the Wilwood 11.75 inch brake kit (actually Randy Webb at Webb Motorsports ended up doing the install). This kit fits (without wheel spacers) both my 17inch BBS RGR's and 16inch winter snow wheels (I live in the mountains of Colorado so snow tires are necessary in the winter - which by the way seems to go from October to May - ouch!!!).

The Wilwood brakes are sweet. Look nice, good price, and perform well.
