HELP!! I bought mud flaps and ?????

I have new in the box, a pair of MINI Cooper mud flaps for the REAR, and the part number is 82 16 0 149 289. However, the instructions online are for kit 82 16 0 136 805. I cannot find the 289 instructions anywhere. I have attempted to install, which is how I found out that they won't go on with these instructions. If someone has an answer for me, I would certainly appreciate it....

Thanks,

Abe

Go to the dealer where you bought them and have them print out the instructions from the TIS. It's the least they can do...

Well, I called them on the way home, and they said that they didn't have them, but I was asking for them to e-mail them to me, so I guess I'll be heading there tomorrow.....

Woe is me, I have parts, and no way to know how to put 'em on.... That's right, I am a FIRM believer in reading the directions...(even if they are the WRONG directions...)

I will post new information when it comes available to me..

That was a valiant effort, Jen, but those instructions are for an older model number, and therefore are very different. In fact, those are the ones I started with, and that is how I got screwed up in the first place...

Thanks everyone for your help and support durring this trying time. I will post photos, if it ever stops raining...

Well, they are installed, and I like em (my wife's jury is still out...) but do you know how hard it is to take a picture of black mud flaps in the shade of a full noon sun? I'll try another day perhaps.....

Thanks for all of the help folks, I certainly appreciate it..
