Spring and rear sway install
Spring and rear sway install
I'm going to be getting a set of springs from an MCS since I have a MC with standard springs. I want to try to install them myself, but this is my first car and first mod, so just in case. Does anybody know of a good mechanic i can go to for the install that doesn't charge much since i'm quite broke?

I can't recommend a mechanic, but I recommend this tool for disasembling the front struts:

It's a spark plug socket, a cut-off allen wrench, a socket and a box end wrench.
Also, heavy duty tie down straps work great for compressing springs.

ahh.. a great MINI NAM member. Thanks lots for the springs, too bad I can't go over there and have lunch with you.
now just the matter of getting the springs installed. I sure hope I can, so as not to waste your time or money.
