Spring and rear sway install

I'm going to be getting a set of springs from an MCS since I have a MC with standard springs. I want to try to install them myself, but this is my first car and first mod, so just in case. Does anybody know of a good mechanic i can go to for the install that doesn't charge much since i'm quite broke?

I can't recommend a mechanic, but I recommend this tool for disasembling the front struts:

It's a spark plug socket, a cut-off allen wrench, a socket and a box end wrench.

Also, heavy duty tie down straps work great for compressing springs.

I live in skokie. I was hoping to be able to rent spring compressors from a local auto store.

and, what the heck is that, did you make that tool or what?

I don't trust the spring compressors with the metal fingers. Tie-down straps have worked well for me.

That tool was the best way I could figure out to loosen the nut onthe top of the strut.
