Indy Gas prices

I found a link www.indygasprices.com Gives you the high and low gasoline prices for the Indy metro area. Yes I know that it mostly shows regular unleaded and that the MINI uses Premium. Hey if it can save you a buck or so on a tank why not??

I always go to the same station.

They say that it's better for your car to give it the same gas grade from the same location on a consistent basis. Dunno.

Ok.. stupid question.. the Mini only uses premium?

But Joe and I do what Davisio has mentioned, and if we can't get to the one station we at least try to stay with the same brand, BP... and trust me, in the SUV I stop and fill up alot

The S only likes premium. I don't know about the Cooper.

I believe I paid $2.39 on Wednesday at the Shell in Brownsburg. Yesterday it was $2.37.

Paid 2.39 Thursday in Greencastle. Then saw it in Bellville for 2.31 for same brand (Shell) . It's only a difference of about 1.00 but a buck is a buck!

Lower priced premium

If any of you happen to be up on the north side on a sunday, monday, and possibly wednesday, the Marathon station at 96th & Keystone (close to D&R) sells premium for the cost of mid-grade. I filled up there this morning for $2.21/gal, whereas the Marathon station close to my house had premium @ $2.39/gal. I don't know if any other stations around the city do what the one near D&R does...

Shell station on the west side of 465 Speedway, has 93 for $2.11. I agree too that you should always try to stay with the same gas. As for what kind that could be greatly debated. I prefer Shell, Chevron, or Mobil, and since there are not any Chevrons near by, and the closest Mobil is up in Lafayette, I stick with Shell.

NEVER get gas in Greencastle... it's always higher... the Cloverdale I-70 exit is as well.

At 10:00PM, the red light on the gas gauge glowing, and by myself I didn't want to try to get back to Pfield!

Good move- You can't get from Greencastle to Danville when you are glowing red. I found out the hard way.
You can get from Greencastle to Bellville - but I think Pfield would be pushing it.
