I noticed the Shift **** on the 05' S model has an updated sporty shorter look over the standard non S model. Does anybody know if this part is available and if it can be put on an 04' MC CVT??

Reviving an old post. I'm actually trying to do this myself now. Did you find out anything?

 

I know this thread os a few months old but I have some experience with the cvt **** and it should fit.perfectly, and incase youre unaware you can actually fit a manual gearshifter (oem or aftermarket) onto your gearshifter

 

How does one install a manual gearshifter **** on there and still have the shifter interlock button work?

I'd love to have a "6" pool ball on mine.

 

you can pull the gearshifter off and simply not have the interlock button. i believe theres still a lock to prevent you from putting it in park at 60mph :p ive completely taken my shifter off and you can still shift, just without a lock
