Chicagoland Convertibles?
Chicagoland Convertibles?
Anyone Else in Chicagoland have a Convertible? I just got my Hot Orange with Black Stripes Convertible and have yet to see another convertibles around Chicago. I would love to find out what other Convertible owners think?
There are at least 3 http://www.chicagominiclub.com/ club members with convertibles, and I see one or two a week in the northern suburbs.
Come on out for a drive Sunday http://www.chicagominiclub.com/2005/...arch_20th.html and you may get a chance to hook up with other droptop MINI's.

almost Chicago
Well, not quite Chicagoland and not yet a MINI Cabrio, but it's on order and hopefully will be at Bill Jacobs, Naperville early in May. I'm in downstate Bloomington/Normal but come up quite often to Chicago (and probably more often once I have my MINI!!!)If you see a BRG with cordoba leather Int and web spokes that may be me! Don't know if it would be worth it to join the Chicago MINI Motoring Club because I wouldn't be able to make many of the events. But I'm thinking about it!

On a side note, My baby is taking her first long distance trip. My better half is driving her down to Flordia for a week. I know, Chicago to Florida is a long trip when she only has 2500 mile now. Wish her luck!

Snake road was a blast, although a bit sandy around the turns.
