MCS Magnaflow exhaust questions

Has anyone here experienced any rattles or fitment issues with the Magnaflow catback system for the MCS?

Thanks,

David

No.... but, mine did crack! Right before the resonator.... however, I have an 03 system modified to fit an 04 car, so I might be somewhat to fault. It was nothing more than a $20 weld repair.

Great system, dont forget about the Milltek header with it

I had the Magna Flow installed on my 05MCS back in September. I noticed the next day that when the engine had been running for awhile I heard some "rubbing" sound. Took it back to the installer. He took some Metal(?) washers and placed between the heat plate(?) (sorry not a gear head) and the problem has not re-appeared. I do love the sound and the look of the unit. To me, it sounds better than the other systems I have heard for the MCS. Loud works for me. After driving my 01 Vette for 3 years with straight pipes (SLP Loud Mouth), my neighbors are thrilled with the "muted" sound of the Magna Flow. I smile when people report the Magna Flow is too loud!
