Photoshop: Aero Kit Side skirts

I have this '05 Cooper S and like but dislike the black trim on the side (too plasticky looking). I asked my dealer, D&R, if they could just put an aero side skirt on, and they said they have had tons of people do that, and would be happy to. The only problem is I haven't seen a MINI with just the aero kit side skirts. Can anyone photoshop this pic for me with an CR Aero Kit side skirt? It would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks in Advance
Chili

ohhh wait you said aero skirt, not bed skirt. Seriously. It could be done easily, if you can find a decent pict of the aero skirt and then take a pict of your mini in about the same angle. Otherwise it may look a bit out of proportion. If you get those, I could do it

Search Mini2

You can find pics of just about any configuration you can imagine by doing an advanced member search on Mini2.com. It rocks. For example, you might want to look at this one.

But isn't that the car wash skirt and not the aero skirt.

This particular example has normal MCS bumpers and aero side skirts that are partially painted. Note the exhaust is on the side!

The question is of a CR MCS with only aero side skirts and not the rest of the aero kit per se. Yes it can be done and yes it does look good. You may paint all of the aero skirt but if you do then maybe also paint the wheel arches or you can paint only a portion of the aero side skirt as in Xalfa's link.

Above and below: Aero kit MCS- just look at the side skirt which is partially painted-note black wheel arches.

Actually, XAlfa's link is spot-on: it is an MCS with only aero kit side skirts, no aero front and rear bumpers .

As soon as I get my parts painted, I will have the painted black arches (on Pure Silver MCS) and aero side skirts only (painted on the ends to blend with the arches).

Here is the pic of the side skirt you were telling me to get so you could photoshop it. I liked the car in your example, but I'd like to see one exactly like mine looks, so the best example to photoshop would be mine!

Thanks in Advance

I just don't want my car to look unbalanced #1, #2 I don't want to fork out my already limited amount of money for the entire Aero Kit, and #3 I think the Aero kit looks ugly on minis with a white top.

Hope You Can Do it

XAlfa,
Sorry my "old" eyes did not catch that aero skirt at the right angle on that picture I enlarged in that link. My error.
Strange MCS with side mounted exhaust!
I wonder if it is a custom exhaust?

No worries. That exhaust looks like a SuperTrapp.

That is indeed a supertrapp. although I am very partial to the center exit stock location exhaust. But maybe they should invest in MINI now? That would be some LOUD MINI I bet. If he put a MC bumpers and Hood and debadged it, it would be a nice sleeper car.

I think just the aero sideskirts make the car look nice. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but the factory has yet been able to prepaint hyper blue aero side skirts.

Here's 3 photos of the aero kit side skirts and with all the remaining black plastic on the wheels, front, and rear bumper painted the body color.

What do you think about these? Is it just the angle or does this car look longer? I don't know I really need a better angle to make my decision.

What is the ballpark cost of getting just the sideskirts?

I was just quoted a price of $196 per side for the aero skirts from Classic MINI. These parts are primed. You can order the pre-painted ones for $259 each but it would take a long time to get them.
