Thank You, AMVIV

Thank you everyone at AMVIV for such a good time!

Special thanks to:

Sin City MINI Club for sponsoring the gathering.
C3 MINIs for the banquet - met lots of interesting people!
MINI5280 Club - your invitation to meet you in Denver was
an added bonus. Thanks for being patient with a Kansas-raised MINI
that has only seen 110 MPH on flat land prior to this.
Sponsors and vendors - thanks for all the great gifts donated for the drawings.
Special thanks to Mini Mania for generously donating the loot that I took home in the boot!!

It was great meeting all of you.

You're more than welcome. Hopefully, you'll come out again next year. Make a regular thing of it.

AGRO, I have enjoyed the pics of AMVIV and am wondering if you could post a list of how many attended and colors of the MINI's?

You're quite welcome! We all had so much fun! I still haven't fully recovered.

Thanks for being there and supporting us!

I'll be posting "official" pics after this weekend when I get back from fabulous Nebraska!

I'll post the count of "checked-in" cars when I get it from Paula (the lady most of you met at check-in, she ROCKS!) but we kept no kind of count of colours.

I know the run counts, based on how many cars left Palace as a group, except for VOF where the count was taken at the Info Center parking lot.
Dam: 60 plus Dominic and others who left from elsewhere than the hotel.
Mt Charleston: 70 plus a few who joined us on the way.
Red Rock: 70 plus...
Strip cruise: 105 cars left Palace, gained a few, lost a few
Valley of Fire: 68 plus at least 2 who turned up after the count was taken, plus any who didn't stop at the visitor center.

How about the Poker Rally?? I seem to recall that I was the 50th car at one location.

What were the winning hands in the Poker Run anyway? The best hand I heard about was a set of 3s.

Yeah, that was fun. What a hoot for me and my wife to see you all there. I figured we'd miss you guys being an hour early, but my sense of adjusting for the 1 hour difference between AZ and NV got in the way and the timing turned out perfectly!

Poker Run

We had 54 people do the run.

Best hand: four 4s (possible shenanigans involved)

Second best: three Kings

Third best hand: three 6's (devil hand)

Several returned with less than 5 cards and the "whimp-out Card" opened.

Can't wait till next years Run, Got a few card tricks up my sleeve. Yuk, Yuk, Yuk

poker run

I was at the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign and I gave out 59 cards. It was sooooo much fun to see all of you trying to figure out out clues. Hope you had fun on the run. We will have to come up with new places for next years poker run.
