Anyone close to Livermore or Stockton with a Milltek?

Anyone have a Milltek cat back I can check out? I'd like to see it and hear it before I decide on purchasing. Thanks!

I'm usually in walnut creek and may be able to meet you in san ramon. The cat back is great, just put mine in and it makes noise at just the right time. A nice rumble at idle, increased popping, throaty when in first and second, not too loud at full throttle and best of all it seems to have less of a drone than the stock system. Also, I'm not an exhaust guy I just wanted the extra torque, and the sound was a bonus.

I'd be willing to meet you in San Ramon to check it out sometime. PM me so we can get more details. Also do you have any other modifications?

Great Exhaust!

We just installed one on an "S" and it looked, fit and sounded great!! I can check with the owner and see if she can hook up at our shop in Dublin or something, let me know, she may be on here.

Erik,
Chris here. I think I spoke to you previously regarding that milltek you had for sale. Could you install one on a convertible? The cabrio is a little different...I believe adjustments would need to be made for the system to fit. Not exactly sure what the adjustments are but I was told it isn't something I could do myself at home.

Hey Chris, I will check it out for you. I really want to check out your car too, as I am thinking of painting the M3 racecar that color. I will let you know later today!

OK,

Well, I talked to a couple of folks and basically a little reworking of the exhaust is necessary for the verts. Nothing that we can't handle with our local muffler guy, but definitely not a direct fit.

That's what I heard about using a MCS exhaust on a Cabrio. Me being cheap I want to do the install myself so I'm waiting out for a bolt on setup. I hear Minimania will have one soon...
