WTB: Bra for Cooper

It doesn't matter how old it is, as long as it protects the front and can be secured properly. Thanks. Let me know.

If this is a Colgan bra, I would warn against using this for anything but for show purposes.

I put mine on another person's new MINI to protect her paint on a cross-country trip. Because the bonnet drops down between the headlights and the scoop, there was a flap that vibrated at highway speeds and caused some paint damage from scuffing.

The lower piece that protect the bumper itself did not cause any problems though.

I threw the bra in the trash as soon as I realized that my good intentions had harmed her paint job.

I would suggest a clear bra or nothing in this case.

I just travelled 2,645 miles with the Colgan bra on. No
problems at all. Best investment I made - totally protected
the front end. When I removed it, no rubbing or any other blemishes
found. The chrome scoop even remained unscathed!

I ordered mine directly from Colgan - who custom
makes them per order. I do not know if this made any difference-
it takes about two weeks longer, but it was the only bra I found
that had openings specifically made for the driving lights.

Mini Bra

I sent the Colgan bra back in favor of the one offered by Mini, cost $96. Fits better and the hood section fits the entire hood. I use mine for long trips, it's great. It also has all the cutouts for the fog lights and hood scoop
