Carmax warranty
My friend had a good experience with the initial carmax warranty and he purchased the extended warranty for 120k miles.
the extended warranty is done by a third party.
does anyone have experience in collecting on the carmax warranty?
I ask the mini I bought new was bulletproof. The two I bought used were lemons.
I don’t see getting a used mini without warranty but if they don’t honor it I will just not get a mini again.

I have not purchased from Carmax, but I have from Autonation, which they probably operate the same? I bought a Toyota FJ cruiser off there lot that had a steering vibration issue. I brought it to my local mechanic and they replaced the steering rack covered by the extended warranty. The cost was about $3700. No much of a problem..; Good Luck...
