Clutch Fork Retaining Clip

Installing a new clutch on Frankie. It's an 04 S with the clutch fork. With the bearing off the fork slides right out so I'm getting a new plastic retaining clip. Is there an easy way to get this off before I start digging and trying to get it out?

Just thought I'd ask for any tips or quick tricks to get it.

Do you have a photo? I can't remember a plastic retainer clip. Or is it the white round plastic bush the fork goes through?

Yeah I may not have the name of it right, but yes that part. Looks like it's two pieces clipped together.

I ordered them here. Not a direct link but if you scroll down you will see the white pieces I mean. The clutch release bearing.

Pinch the two parts that stick out and push the whole thing out. The new part should just push in.

Getting the actual fork out was way more difficult when I did it as the bolt that holds the fork part to the shaft was seized.

Yeah my fork slid right out not even trying to remove it so I figure these are too worn. 160k so probably time to replace either way. Thanks for the info!
