Clutch Slave Cylinder Leaking

In the mix of all the work I've been doing due to a broken clutch fork, I had replaced my hydraulic line that runs from the share master cylinder to the slave cylinder because it as corroded and actually had a blow out. This was replaced with an original Mini part. I have also replaced my slave cylinder because the whole event of the clutch fork breaking was a bit violent and I didn't trust the tip of it anymore as it appeared to take some damage, so I have a new LUK brand slave cylinder.

With the original slave cylinder, when I was troubleshooting earlier on with the new hydraulic hose, I noticed I had a slight fluid leak where the hose goes into the slave cylinder when I tried bleeding the original setup doing testing. I didn't think much of it because I knew I was going to replace the slave cylinder. Well now I have both new parts on and my repairs are almost complete so I wanted to mount and bleed the new slave cylinder. I did so per my understanding of the instructions but now I have fluid leaking out where the hose goes into the slave cylinder again, and I had some coming out the end of the shaft that jutts out from the slave cylinder that pushes on the clutch fork. Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, for sake of being thorough - my understanding of the bleeding process is to use something to compress the shaft all the way in that comes out of the slave cylinder and keep it pushed in while bleeding. I did this with a board and some botls and had that shaft pushed all the way in. Then I bled the line with one of those handheld pump tools to bleed it solo without pushing the pedal. Once it was bled I took the board off and went to install the slave cylinder the bell housing opening behind the clutch fork. When I was moving it is when I noticed fluid coming out the end that pushes the fork, and then I noticed it was coming out where the hose goes into the unit.

Understandable the clutch pedal goes to the floor without resistance now and does not return to normal position. I've not had something like this happen before. Ideas?
