need help installing vacuum valved exhaust

Hi all,

I recently bought a custom made JCW exhaust with a valve. It’s vacuum operated and I got a vacuum reservoir, control box, piersburg valve solenoid and a lot of vacuum lines. The only thing I’m not really sure about it the placement of the control box and the vacuum lines I should be tapping in to for the exhaust. The previous owner of the exhaust said he had the control box connected straight into the battery. I’m scared it’ll drain my battery overtime. He didn’t say where he had tapped into the vacuum lines though.. if someone knows something about this I’d really appreciate the help!!
(Btw it’s a 07 mini cooper s N14)

thanks in advance!
