2005 MINI Cooper head unit / radio / stereo (CD player, of course), whatever you want to call it. Thought I would make a new post on here about the stereo, as the discussion from the 2003 head unit sale turned into a 2005 head unit request!

Should we just start a "first come, first served" list here? Anyone want to add on to this list with the request to purchase a 2005 head unit and the first person on the list gets the first unit available, then posts that they have received it?

Granted, this is under the assumption that the 2005 owners are actually willing to part with their MP3 playing head unit! Think of it this way, its an incentive for you to get some money off the price of an aftermarket one, and if you purchase the right one, you'll still have steering wheel controls!!! In other words, HURRY UP AND SELL ME YOUR 05 UNIT!!!

 

I'd be interested in hearing what people are paying for the used (albeit not much) '05 headunits....

 

I'll swap my '03 non-HK for a '05 non-HK HU; or if the price is right for a '05 non-HK HU.

 

I believe that Wenzor bought one and the asking price was $100.00 plus shipping.

PLEASE tell me someone has an 05 for sale - don't make me buy a flip out LCD headunit for my car.... I really want to keep the front part of my car stock since the back half sure won't be....

 

I'm looking for a 2003 or newer OEM Head Unit. Anything that will accept the AUX port would be perfect. Less expensive the better

I have one coming out of my month-old 2005 next week. I could be persuaded to part with it, but to be honest I'd want to see more than $100. Actually probably closer to twice that.

^ Me too. I'd like anything that accepts the AUX port (2003 or newer), although one with MP3 capability would be perfect (2005). For the right one, I'd pay definitely like double $100 PM me if you have one.
