Seat lowering options?

I assume there are no aftermarket lowering rails or anything but figured I'd ask in case the google searches just aren't showing anything...

I'm not incredibly tall (5'11") but I do feel like it would be nice to sit another inch or two lower. Maybe some hours driving my Miata has made me feel like the clubman seat is just too high? Hehe. Anyway, if anyone knows of lowering options, I'm all ears! Er, eyes.

I hear ya. Try sitting in (on?) an F60 Countryman!

Might be an obvious question, but do you have the height adjuster all the way down? I'm 5'10" and with it all the way down, I feel a bit too low. Even with a lowering option, not sure you'll get down to Miata seat height levels...

Hehe yep, my seat is a manually adjustable one and I crank it down all the way. Wish it was lower still.

Any little bit lower would help, if there are some rails (maybe some shared parts with a bmw model car?). I don't expect miata lowering, but a little down would be nice for a lot of reasons.

I should probably take the seat out and see how a lowering rail would even work...

Yea, never seen anything for lowering.

I guess you cant bottom out due to the speakers and wires under the seat. On the older MINIs their was a bunch of empty space under there.
