Mini Television Special
Was taking care of a sickly Joe today and while cooking some dinner I heard "Oh hon, you have to see this show!" and sure enough it was an hour long show about the MINI !!
It wa the type where they take two cars and two teams and fix them up, this show had two classics that they were modifying for autocrossing but it also had a great deal about the history of the car, it was fabulous! I think it was on TSC.. aprox. 5 this evening...
You gotta love a guy that will give up his PS2 time to let you drool over some MINIs !

I saw it too!
My dad (retired mini racer and '67 mini owner for 30 years) called me and asked I tape it for him - it was a great show! Will air again on the History Channel Feb.20, 11pmET
>>From HistoryChannel.com: "The Little Car That Could", the 1978 English Mini becomes a road racer with a new suspension, braking system, and engine upgrades. Fasten your seatbelts for a wild ride as we head to the drag strip in revamped vintage cars. Part reality show, part history, we give two teams the same model of car in similar disrepair, garages, tools, and parts, and just two days to prepare before competing in an all-or-nothing drag race--and in this episode, on a road track with English-style right-hand drive cars! The winner drives away in both cars; the loser walks away empty-handed; the viewer gets an adrenaline dose of automotive history. TVPG <<

VCR worked fine for it first time around.
If you want to own either of those cars, they are currently up for bids on ebay. Just search for "197* Mini". They're there.
EDIT: Here's a direct link:

I hate unappreciative people.
