Hoping someone can help me out with the DME pinouts for my 2012 MCS auto. I'm currently almost complete with my Honda K24 swap on this car and I have everything except the electrical power steering working. I was told that I have to connect the signal wire from the Honda K24 exhaust cam sensor to the MCS DME exhaust cam sensor input. This is the location of the wire that I was told to connect to:
However, I think that is incorrect because it looks like they're using a much smaller 32pin connector when compared to my 48pin connector. According to this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ng-pinout.html I should be connecting to pin 19 which is the exhaust cam sensor input. However, when I check my connector according to the pinouts, I see that my location for pin 17 (Crankshaft sensor) and 18 (maf sensor signal) are blocked off with the white plugs, which makes me suspect that my 2012 is a little different. See picture below of where the white plugs are and please don't mind that I plugged the sensor wire into pin 20, it was just a test to see if the "intake cam sensor" location would work.
Could anyone help me find out if my January 2012 Mini Cooper S Automatic DME pinout is the same as any other N18 engine MCS? Thanks in advance!
