Sorry about the large image and it did not include the following text for some reason

I have been getting this warning light message from time to time. the pop up image has Recently become more frequent, I never use the cruise control and was wondering if there is a fuse or relay that would disengage the cruise control without creating havoc or damage. I've asked around but could not find an answer. thanks

You would have to pull the codes. On random isolated occurrences, my car will show that warning and store a code for a steering wheel switch error. AS long as the code is stored, my cruise control will not work. But then I'll shut down the car and restart, and everything will be fine. I cannot reproduce it or predict when it will happen.
