Computer screw up “ Instrument cluster KOMBI”

Yesterday I've purchased an R57 S Convertible 2014 (still can’t figure out which Gen it is because it has the N18 but some places show it as Gen 3 and other as Gen 2)

Anyways so trying to find in what I got into I purchased the Foxwell NT510 Elite scanner. Didn’t throw any regular codes but when I went to the BMW/MINI area and scanned I got a bunch of “Fault” modules which seemed odd as the car doesn’t show any issue. So trying to reset the codes starting with the Instrument cluster KOMBI and dumb me newbie with this scanner it looks like I wrote (coded) that module (I didn’t put any values so whatever wrote I assume it’s a default from the scanner. After that the chime changed to a ver awful one (not the typical mini chime), and when I press the Sport button it doesn’t light up in the tach display. I’ve been with the scanner hours and hours and can’t figure out how to return it back. My biggest concern is if I messed up another setting which at the moment I haven’t noticed. Everything else seems fine.

yes, after the screw up and read online I already ordered another scanner to use with bimmer but in the meantime is there something I can do with the Foxwell? Is there like a factory settings that I can follow to make sure all my settings are as factory.

thanks in advance. First time using a scanner and I’m worry enough about how dangerous I can be with it.
