Mini R56 CAS reprogramming issues - Please help
Hi guys
First post here but i seen you guys will still help with some R56 issues
I am having an issue after my car went in for a service and came out with a blowen DME, i have no clue what they have done and i cannot get them to rectify this issue
The DME is dead so have brought a new CAS, DME, KEY and READER
Have installed but now have an issue that the CAS is in a Programming Abort state.
Have access to a D-can cable, ISTA+, ISTA/P and the generic bmw/mini tool set that includes impa and winfkp ect
When checked with ISTA/P the CAS says "this programming status is 12" and will not allow any modifications
Does anyone know how i can get the CAS out of the programming state or is the car becoming a lost cause?

As the DME, CAS key and reader are all from another vehicle they should not need coding... well thats my guess. the problem is with them all installed with have crank but not firing. when scanned it says the DME or CAS is in tamper mode and the CAS is also in a state "programming abort" in ISTA+ and "programming status 12" on ISTA/P
this is the first time i have used these programs or to tried to fix an issue like this with a vehicle so any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated
