First Start AFTER changing Oil Pump Seals and Turbo Lines
How bad did your engine smoke after changing our the gaskets and Oil Lines?
I expected at least some smoke after changing my seals and putting on new In/Out lines but what i got scared me a touch. The smoking was moderate and smelled of burned plastic / Oil. It only smoked from the turbo / Oil pump area obviously. Its a rainy day and i can not yet tell if there is a leak. Damn i shouldnt have reinstalled those heat sheilds yet.
Have any of you experienced this or is this a sign of something not right?
I hope this made sense, Thanks

Well the smoking seems to have disapated. Wont be able to inspect for leaks until daylight but is suspect the smoking is usual for all that ive just done to her. I cant say i have much experience with banjo bolts so I question my work until ive done it enough. Like anything I suppose.
