Searched here but no luck. Issue: N16, auto. trans. - different engine noise while stopped (in traffic or stop light) while in drive and foot on the brake, AC off. Noise similar to AC compressor kicking in - a little louder and a bit "rattley" (made up word). Noise stops if I put it in neutral while still stationary. Noise stops when accelerating again from stationary.

Any ideas? I am guessing a trans. issue? No check engine or other warning lights.
