Is there an aftermarket adapter available that would allow the steering wheel to telescope in and out? If I adjust the seat to where my legs are comfortable, I have to reach excessively for the steering wheel. When I position the seat to where I can reach the wheel properly, then I must bend my legs akwardly to control the pedals.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried the up/down seat lever? It moves the seat forward an back a little as well, and can make a big difference in comfort. I doubt you could find a telescoping setup for a reasonable amount of money.
