Replacing spark plugs on F60

Hello all,

I have a 2019 F60 S and am thinking I may need to replace the spark plugs.

The car seems fine most of the time.
- Sometimes a bit hesitant when I accelerate, but I think that's just due to being an automatic and my mistiming the gear shift.
- Big thing is it's kind of chugs when A/C is on, but seems fairly okay when under acceleration.

Anyways, I just had the engine mounts replaced, so I don't think it's them, but I can bring back to dealer and ask. The other thing I've read to check is the plugs. What plugs do people buy as replacements and is replacing a fairly simple job?

My 2018 also exhibits the same issue. I do have 55k on it and am close to the recommended plug change. The job is not to bad but you will need a special spark plug socket which you can get on amazon for about 15 bucks. Also use the oem plugs which I believe are Beru. Do not cheap out on them. It will run you around 70 for a set from fcp euro.

Yep,

Always check the plug type, some aftermarket pugs with have a 6 point socket of a different size. Most are that Beru 14mm design plugs

2018 F60 spark Plugs

Hello! I am also looking for DYI info on changing plugs for my 2018 F60. I have the tools. #1 plug has a vacuum hose over it… is it safe to remove? Also there is some kind of stability bar making it tricky. Any tips on doing this yourself?

I replaced my coils and plugs on my '19 F60 S. I did not remove the vacuum hose and was able to work around it... You do have to move the foam covering over the two coils on the right. I just moved it out the way. I also didn't remove the bar.

Great, thank you. I’m new to mini… Did you need a special socket for the coils? It looks like this nut is securing it.

The coil packs are not very expensive. I usually replace the plugs and the coils together since I'm in there anyway.
