I've been obsessed with Minis for some time and was finally able to buy and own my first one in November of 2023. This is actually my first car ever that isn't a hand me down from mom and dad. I was fortunate to end up with a 2006 factory JCW that was one owner until 2021. It swapped hands a few times before ending up in Utah with the owner I bought it from, who took care of everything from a full mechanical refresh to many small oem+ mods. This car was his nostalgia project as his first car was an R53 Cooper S. Needless to say, I got a great deal, from a great seller, on a car that has been well loved for its 75k miles. The car came home with me to northwest WA where I spend all my time driving the beautiful coast roads in WA and BC. I'm excited to be a part of the Mini community, and if anyone nearby knows of any events around the PNW please let me know!
Now I begin the hunt for all of the little bits and pieces that will make this Mini uniquely mine, while I drive and appreciate the build of the last owner. Here are some photos
Looks like the first thing you may want/need would be a rear Aero bumper to complete the kit. Not easy to find, and some like the stock better, although it does throw off the proportions a bit. At least you’re in the sweet spot for MINIs and parts…PNW.

Certainly. My first focus was strut tower reinforcement/brace, but the aero rear is on the list just as soon as I can actually find one haha. Any leads for me?
