Using the back up camera as a rearview mirror?

One complaint I have about our F57 is that I can't see well behind me because the opened top partly blocks the view of my rearview mirror. The side mirrors help, but I find myself wishing there were a way to manually activate the rearview camera I already have for backing up when I'm driving forward. Since that view is already being recorded by my rear-facing dash cam, it seems there should be some way for me to see that view when I wish to do so while driving forward at speed.

Has anyone here had any success in adding a rear camera view on the highway?

I just adjust my rear view mirror up a bit and I can see behind me better.

We actually manufacture a device like that. I wonder if there's still demand for it. There used to be when everyone wanted to watch their cameras while driving, but then the interest faded. Our device costs about $400 and will activate your factory camera.

Do you have a link?

I've been looking for something like this. See my old thread:

Note: I thought (still think) I'd have to mount another camera, so as to see further back. (and get something with good night vision as well.)
Will the stock backup camera actually work?

I may already have 2 rear-facing cameras on my F57: the factory backup camera, plus the rear camera of my Acumen dash camera system. But I too would love to hear more about your existing solution to this problem. Thanks.
