Hi Everyone,

I've been looking at all sorts of upgrades just for my Paceman and I would really appreciate some feedback on rearview mirror/dash cam since there are so many to choose from. The 2 in one are the products that I like the most.

Any suggestions?

I got the FalconZero 170HD+ dashcam.. not a rearview mirror type though, when they had it as a lightning deal on Amazon.. so far I've been pretty happy with it. Has plenty of good reviews and the videos are pretty clear.

 

@808keith is this a rear view mirror dashcam or just a dashcam?

 

I have a PAPAGO Gosafe 200.
It just barely fits on the rearview mirror. It works great, even through a 20% tinted windshield.

@H_C how does it have power? Is it connected or do you have to charge it all the time?

 

It is connected to the cigarette lighter. It also has an integrated battery.
The dashcam powers on once the car is on, and powers down when the ignition is off. There is no phantom power draw.
With a tinted window, the only way to see it is if you're right up to the windshield.

 

Yeah it's a dash cam because I have one of those convex rear view mirror.
