Bright GREEN on my MINI!

I'm showing off my new graphics because I am so excited about them! It's like getting a new car:smile: I wanted a traditional stripe, but one that would really be wild, so I got it! What do y'all think?

Look at them here: http://www.cooperspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1690

We also did a special meatball set for the Hornet Rally outside of Houston this weekend. This is what it looked like there. http://www.cooperspeed.com/forums/at...tachmentid=413

They are wild! I like the sayings on the side, and I especially like how the stripes continue down the bumper, and to the molding under the grille.

Again...

It never ceases to amaze me the things people will voluntarily do to their cars...

But not as much as how many people will say something to the effect of "that looks great!"

Unreal

What amazes me Amorican is how people like you always show up to sh*t on someone's thread.

You don't like his stripes? Then either say, "not my taste, don't think it looks good" or don't say anything at all. Have you no respect for other people?

I think the stripes are decent. Not what I'd do but they still work, IMO.

I'm not feeling this colour combo myself but you are right. It is no reason to get rude about it. I certainly like the how unique your MINI is with the meatballs and the words on the stripes. At the very least I find it very interesting and it certainly gets my attention.

Thanks for all the comments! (and even Amorans) BTW, I'm an artist and I don't expect everyone to have the same visual aesthetics as me. I think it's good to take risks in life and show people that there are alternatives to the norm. It just so happens I love color, and I love the color green

Besides, it's vinyl, IT'S NOT PERMANANT! AND btw...my husband owns a graphic business and we can do what we want when we want!! Just kidding, but really it was well recieved by the people that saw it at the Rally we went to on Saturday. Which is sortof the point, it shows off ability, design, color, and installation.

Dees Mini it sounds like you have the right kind of attitude.

What amazes me is how fragile ego's and self-esteem can be.

If you ask peoples opinion on how something looks like Dees did "what do y'all think?" and then expect only affirming responses then what kind of self-constructed reality do you want to live in. Dees did not expect this, sounds like she expected some good, some bad, and at the end of the day it does not matter one bit what she does.

If you say "I don't care what people think"and "If it looks good to me then that's all that counts", Then why post pictures of your ride if It looks good to you and thats ALL that matters? why show it off?

The fact is we do care, we want acceptance, you want that "look" and that's ok!!! But, at least live in reality, at least take in all the real responses. It's not personal, no one is going to take away your mini for doing something silly looking to it. Just seek the truth about things.
