Hi just picked up a 2015 countryman JCW all wheel 6speed for my wife and she hates that it has the factory screen. Is there any way to upgrade it or swap it to the big speedo?

 

You are to be commended for marrying a girl who can drive a stick. IDK about the speedo - I'm sure it's doable, no idea how much of a PIA it is. If someone here has done it they'll chime in. Congrats on the car - just picked my R60 2015 last week.

 

The screen as it is seems like its about 25 years old. If you have patience however you can put in an Andream box which will change it over to Android Auto/Car Play. Night and day upgrade to the factory interface. Its still not a touchscreen but you can run Waze or Google Maps etc.. There are some writeups if you search, takes most of a Saturday to put it in due to the amount of crap in the way to get to the screen. (You keep the screen) The way it works also is that you can switch back and forth to factory by holding down the home button as well.
