Mini JCW 2010 looking for front bumper 2 piece spoiler.
Hi Everyone,
I just recently joined the group. So far has been very helpful. I purchase a mini JCW 2010 50th anniversary and I’m restoring it. I have been looking for the front bumper 2 piece spoiler and I can’t find them. It says that it has been discontinued. I keep finding the update version for the new aero bumper on minis 2012 and up.
I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on where I can find them. I’m willing to purchase them used as long they are in decent condition.
The aero 1 and aero 2 are discontinued and you will have a problem sourcing one used. In my other group an owner looked for two years before finding a used one. You will have to scour salvage yards and junk yards in the hope of finding it. Curious, what 50th anniversary do you have? Camden, Mayfair or WC50? I run an international group for WC50’s. See my other response to your previous post. There is also a dedicated group here for WC50’s. Search “WC50” in the top right and it will appear in the block. The posts are from as far back as 2009.

Yep, super hard to find, most people just convert the whole bumper to our aero III kit as i know we can keep those aftermarket ECS / bremmen parts in the supply network. The problem is no one is really making the aero I and II aftermarket /Genuine MINI suppliers and the demand is for Aero III. Good luck on the search. Most are used and/or beat up.
Most of the kits are here we are just waiting on other parts to land to make the complete kit. We have a bunch of the Aero III parts ala carte also. We have the rear bumpers and the side skirts. Those are shared aero I and aero II parts. Its that's front bumper that had three different versions.
We try to save the most JCW parts by working with suppliers on getting these molds made at an OEM level. No one in our market is this focused. Its hard as some parts we cannot get made. :(
