I hated the factory tail lamps where they would not light symmetrically, so I installed aftermarket, Archaic brand ( https://www.archaic-direct.com/produ...-r55-2007-2014 ), Union Jack LED tail lamps to achieve symmetry.
when you win the wire that comes with the set, between both lamps, it makes both lamps have reverse lights and rear fogs (if you vehicle has that option, like mine does)
easy to run wires between lamps, by running under the large trunk lip plastic part and carpet, as there is cut-out openings you can push the wire through!.
FYI: in one pic, I'm holding two wires and Archaic told me if you connect those together, it removes the "fun" animation at startup and "scrolling" signal light operation.
after install, I definitely had to go into the FRM and turn off hot and cold monitoring of tail lamps. The rear fogs and reverse lamps were causing issues, but to be safe, I DID set my tail lamps to LED reverse bulbs and still turned off anything with hot/cold monitoring and no errors on dash since.

The video on their website... looks interesting. The running light start-up is a short pulse, then on? I like that they combine the reverse and fog light onto both sides.
i believe the annimation is like 3 pulses of the LEDs scrolling from bottom to top, of the park lamps. and the scrolling signal lamp does the same thing. starts at the bottomj, in yellow, and fills up the signal spot then starts over again.
YES, the only reason I bought then was because both Reverse and rear fogs can be on both the lamps and yes IN the same spot. and both on at the same time, actually. I don't know if the red rear fogs turn OFF when the reverse lamps illuminate or not, but the white reverse lamps still light up if the rear fogs are on.
What is the connector for the tail lights? Is it a 3 by 2(pre facelift) oval plug, or a 1 by 6 rectangle plug(Post facelift)?
edit nevermind just saw they come with an adapter.
